Polar has a policy of clear up-front pricing. We believe it's fair to tell you our charges openly for straightfoward projects, so that you can enjoy working with us on your website, without worrying about hidden costs.

Services

Basic site

Our basic design service delivers a group of web pages that all have the same style or theme. Your website can be made to match your organisation's existing branding or you can have a completely new look - please get in touch to tell us what you need.

If your site has more than six pages, you need to pay for each additional page. You don't have to launch these at the same time as the first six - you can add extra pages at any time. However, if your site contains less than six pages at launch, you still need to pay for every page you add afterwards, even if the total remains six or less.

We like to keep it simple, so while our basic design rate gives you pages that look good, it doesn't include interactive features for your website, such as a feedback form, a shopping basket, or the ability to update your website yourself. (Client-side technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript are covered, whereas server-side work like ASP, PHP and database connectivity is not.)

If you would like to be able to update your own website, we will be happy to discuss possible solutions with you and provide a quote that is tailored to your specific needs.

Domain registration and web hosting

We can save you the hassle of registering your domain name (the main address of your site, for example www.polarwebdev.com) and making your pages visible on the web.

Updates

You can choose to keep your site up to date in two ways:

• on an occasional basis: the cost will depend on how long it takes us to do the work
• on a regular basis: for a fixed annual cost, we will do up to one hour's work per month on your site (and any further work will be charged at the hourly rate).
